Social and Political Sciences Tripos, Parts IIA and IIB, 2003

The Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences give notice that with effect from the examinations to be held in 2003 the form of examination for the following papers will be as follows:

Part IIa

Psy 1: Social psychology

This paper will be assessed by one divided three-hour paper, in which candidates will be asked to answer three questions, including at least one from each section. Section A will contain not less than three questions on personality and related topics, while Section B will contain not less than seven questions related to all other parts of the course.

Part IIb

Pol 13. Conceptual issues and texts in modern politics

This paper will be assessed by one three-hour undivided paper from which candidates will answer one question from a total of not less than eight.

Soc 6: A subject in sociology IV: Citizenship and human rights

This paper will be assessed by either one three-hour examination paper from which candidates must answer three questions, of a total of ten from an undivided paper, or two 5,000 word essays.
