Rhodes University

HUGE KELLY POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP 2003

Applications are invited for the Huge Kelly Fellowship for the year 2003, at Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa.

The Fellowship is awarded in alternate years to enable senior scientists (with at least a Ph.D. Degree) to devote themselves to advanced work in any of the following Science Departments of Rhodes University: Biochemistry and Microbiology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Ichthyology and Fisheries Science, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics (Pure and Applied), Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics and Electronics, Zoology and Entomology, and the Institute for Water Research.

The value of the Fellowship is approximately R70,000 a year, which includes the cost of a return economy class airfare from the Fellow's place of residence. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for a period of up to one year and preference will normally be given to candidates who are willing to accept the appointment for at least four months.
