REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos, Part IB

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 326)

With immediate effect

The purpose of the amendment is to allow a longer time for the first part of the examination in Comparative Veterinary Biology (CVB).

Regulation 22.

By replacing in the penultimate line the words 'forty-five minutes' by the words 'one hour'.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 329)

With immediate effect

By amending the detail for Section III in each case for the subjects Biology of Disease (BOD), Neurobiology with Animal Behaviour (NAB), Neurobiology with Human Behaviour (NHB), and Veterinary Reproductive Biology (VRB) so as to read:

Section III will consist of essay questions.

The Faculty Board of Biology are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 2002 has been adversely affected by these changes.
