St John's College

SUPERNUMERARY TEACHING FELLOW IN GEOGRAPHY

St John's College invites applications from suitably-qualified men and women for a five-year fixed-term Supernumerary Teaching Fellowship in Geography (without membership of the Governing Body), with effect from 1 October 2002. The person appointed will be required to give undergraduates up to five tutorials or classes a week in Physical Geography and Geographical Techniques during term, and to take a significant part in the organization of Geography teaching in St John's. He or she will also be expected to share pastoral duties and to participate in the undergraduate admissions process. The election to the Fellowship will be for one year in the first instance, renewable subject to a satisfactory report on the specified duties. No duties are required for the University, and the approval of the College must be sought before any are undertaken.

St John's College invites applications from suitably-qualified men and women for a five-year fixed-term Supernumerary Teaching Fellowship in Modern History (without membership of the Governing Body), with effect from 1 October 2002. The person appointed will be required to teach undergraduates up to nine hours each week during term, and to take a significant part in the organization of teaching in St John's for the School of Modern History and the associated joint schools. He or she will also be expected to share pastoral duties and to participate in the undergraduate admissions process. The election to the Fellowship will be for one year in the first instance, renewable subject to a satisfactory report on the specified duties. No duties are required for the University, and the approval of the College must be sought before any are undertaken.
