Pembroke College

STIPENDIARY LECTURERSHIP IN ECONOMICS

The College invites applications for a Stipendiary Lecturership in Economics tenable from 1 October 2001. The Lecturership will be tenable for two years subject to a review after the first year. The Lecturer will be expected to contribute to Economics teaching for all three years of undergraduate work. The College has undergraduates studying Economics in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, History and Economics, Economics and Management, and Engineering, Economics, and Management. It also has visiting students in Economics, largely on Junior Year Abroad schemes from US universities. The successful candidate will be expected to teach for twelve hours a week and to be responsible for the wider administration of the subject. The annual stipend will be within the range £17,755 to £19,482. In addition, the Lecturer will be entitled to Senior Common Room rights.
