The Council give notice that, on the nomination of the Vice-Chancellor, they have reappointed Mrs A. M. Lonsdale, NH, to be a Pro-Vice-Chancellor from 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2004.
Statute D, IV provides for two offices of Pro-Vice-Chancellor. The other office is currently held by Professor D. H. Mellor, DAR, who was appointed from 1 February 2000 to 31 December 2001.
