Fitzwilliam and Pembroke Colleges

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL SCIENCES

Fitzwilliam and Pembroke Colleges invite applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Social and Political Sciences from 1 January 2001.

The appointment, which is open to men and women, will be for three years, with the possibility of reappointment for two years. Further periods of reappointment may be possible, but will depend on the Colleges' continued need for the post as well as on the individual's performance in it.

The Colleges follow an equal opportunities policy. They will not restrict consideration to applicants seeking a full-time appointment. Applications for part-time (or job share) appointments will be welcomed.

The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduates for the Cambridge Social and Political Sciences Tripos, specializing in Politics and/or Political Thought and/or Political Philosophy.

The pensionable stipend of a College Lecturer is currently at a point in the range £17,355 to £23,256, depending on age and experience.
