Welcome to the University's Women's Staff Network (WSN). We welcome all female staff working for the University, a College or an associated institution.

About the WSN

The Equality & Diversity section is working closely with women at all levels of the University developing a clear strategy to raise gender concerns.

During 2009–10, the previous Women's Networks at the University were combined to form one group clearly focused on progressing the University's gender objectives.

Events hosted by the WSN and targeted at women in the University clearly show that women are seeking support with their personal and career development. To illustrate this, the workshops ‘Releasing Your Potential’, held twice within the year due to popular demand, and ‘Widening Your Circle of Influence’ attracted more than 200 women. These sessions, and the popularity of the events in the International Women's Day Programme in March 2009, indicate how the WSN is working with the University to offer increasingly successful activities of importance and relevance to all female staff.

If you would like to know more about the work of the WSN email equality@admin.cam.ac.uk or call Sarah Dickinson on (7)60424.
