About the LTS initiative

The LTS (Learning and Teaching Support) initiative aims to disseminate ideas and examples of learning and teaching throughout the University via a number of strands:

• Ideas and examples: an online database of practices from around the University.

• LTS events: a series of seminars which focus on different areas of learning and teaching.

• LTS News: a termly newsletter which features a report of the previous event, articles on related topics and updates on other learning and teaching initiatives.

A report reviewing the LTS initiative from 2006-8 was published in July 2008 and can be downloaded as a .pdf document:

LTS is coordinated by the Education Section of the Academic Division. We are happy to provide advice about general University policy and practice, as it applies to learning and teaching.
