Educational and Student Policy
Welcome to Educational and Student Policy
Quality assurance and enhancement

Our main responsibility is to support the business of the General Board's Education Committee, which monitors and seeks to enhance the quality of the University's teaching programmes. In exercising these responsibilities, the Committee has oversight of External Examiners' reports; is responsible for approving changes to courses and examinations; and conducts Learning and Teaching Reviews. The Education Committee is also responsible for developing and monitoring the University's Learning and Teaching Strategy, and disseminating good practice. For further information local users are referred to the Education Committee website.
Educational and Student Policy also provides administrative support for a number of University Committees, including: the Senior Tutors' Committee and its standing committees and the Natural Sciences Tripos Management Committee (local users only). In addition, we administer the Travelling Expenses Fund and the Foreign Travel Fund.
This site provides information and guidance about the University's quality assurance procedures and processes for teaching, learning and assessment in the Guide to Quality Assurance and Enhancement.
