Exploring themes of mass production, celebrity, colonialism and our notion of history, this impressive installation by ceramic artist and curator, Matt Smith, features over 100 sculptural parian busts from the Glynn collection of parian.

Sampled Lives: Samplers from the Fitzwilliam Museum

Showcasing over 100 samplers from the Museum’s excellent but often unseen collection, this display highlights the importance of samplers as documentary evidence of past lives.

The Object of My Affection: stories of love from the Fitzwilliam collection

Love is very much in the air in this exhibition, which contains objects alive with the range of emotions that it commands; from admiration and affection, joy and passion, longing and despair, to insults, indifference, grief and remembrance.

Highlight Things of Beauty Growing: British studio pottery

Things of Beauty Growing is the largest exhibition of its kind in recent times, displaying over 100 historic and contemporary ceramics by potters including Bernard Leach, Lucie Rie, Edmund de Waal, Alison Britton, Grayson Perry and Julian Stair.

The Heong Gallery is delighted to announce the UK presentation of The Court of Redonda – a major solo exhibition by Stephen Chambers RA, following its highly acclaimed unveiling as a Collateral Event of the 2017 Venice Biennale.

Highlight Shackleton's Cat - Children's Opera

Shackleton's Cat returns in 2018, as part of English Touring Opera's award-winning strand of operas for young people. The opera tells the story of the voyage and destruction of the Endurance 100 years ago, and the subsequent tale of survival against all odds. The opera lasts just over an hour and is created for children aged 7-11 and their families.

Highlight Citizens of an Imaginary World Art Workshop

Illustrators Lele Saa, Mari?a J. Guarda and Viola Wang teach you the key skill in their trade – creating memorable characters. Investigate the clues in dress, manner and gesture that make all of us unique and that let others know who we are and what we believe in. Ages 7-12 £10 All materials provided.

Genomic Expressions exhibition asks the question 'What does genomics mean to you?' to those who work at the Wellcome Genome Campus. Some answers may make you smile, some are heart-warming but all encourage us, the viewer, to reflect on our own answer to the question.

Highlight Portraits of Utopians Art Workshop

The portraits in The Court of Redonda are of courtiers in a utopian court. It is a utopia of diversity, into which anyone can gain entry regardless of moral or material qualifications. Illustrators Lele Saa, Mari?a J. Guarda and Viola Wang teach you the key skill in their trade – creating memorable characters. Ages 16 and up. £15 All materials provided.
