A Saturday afternoon classical guitar concert of music from the renaissance. Early music by John Dowland, Francis Cutting, Luis de Milan, Luis de Narvaez, Alonso Mudarra and other composers. With galliards by Dowland and pavanes by Milan, the concert also includes the tunes Willson’s wilde, Tarleton’s Resurrection, and Guardame las Vacas. Played by guitarist Tim Christmas. |
