Public Lecture by Professor Adam Hanieh, chaired by Professor Helen Bao.

Adam Hanieh is Professor of Political Economy and Global Development at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter, and Joint Chair in Middle East Studies at the Institute of International and Area Studies at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Helen Bao is Professor of Urban Economics and Public Policy at the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Newnham College.

Organised with the Centre for South West Asian and North African Studies, University of Cambridge.
