Can games help us talk about death?

Thu 8 May

Faculty of English

Can tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) change the way we approach conversations about dying? Join us to playtest a new TTRPG that aims to do just this. Endgame invites players on an intergalactic quest that explores themes of loss, legacy, and letting go. Based on prototypes developed in collaboration with death experts, Endgame is designed to be modded, hacked, and transformed by each new set of players. In this spirit, you will be encouraged to design a card for a custom deck that will be circulated will all participants after the session. No previous TTRPG experience required. 3 hour morning workshop in central Cambridge. Tea, coffee, and snacks provided.
