A Courtly Garland by Orpheus Britannicus

Trinity Hall’s ‘Ensemble in Residence’, Orpheus Britannicus, will perform music from A Courtly Garland, charting the rise of the trumpet within art music during the Baroque period.
Featuring Robert Farley (Baroque Trumpet), Theresa Caudle (Baroque Violin) and Trinity Hall's Director of Music, Andrew Arthur (Organ & Director). The following pieces will be performed:
Grossi – Sonata in D for Trumpet & Strings, Op. 3, No. 11
Handel – Organ Concerto in G minor, Op. 4, No. 1
Finger – Sonata in C for Trumpet, Violin & Continuo
Handel – Organ Concerto in F major, Op. 4, No. 4
Torelli – Sonata in D for Trumpet & Strings (G.6)
The concert will last for approximately 75 minutes after which, guests are invited for a post-concert drink (included in the ticket price).

Please note that there will not be an interval and entry after the concert has begun may not be permitted. The doors will be open from 7pm and we ask that guests take their seats by 7.25pm. Seats will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Once you have booked your ticket(s) you will receive a booking confirmation which you will be asked to present on arrival. Please either print a copy or display using a handheld electronic device. You will not be issued tickets.
