Mon 16 March
The Glasshouse

Featuring a keynote and a panel of Cambridge experts, the discussion will dissect the gap between AI promise and delivery, explore how AI and digital technologies can drive inclusive, sustainable growth, and examine how research and policy interact across local, national, and global levels.
Speakers will highlight current Cambridge initiatives—from the AI & Geopolitics project to the new MPhil in Digital Policy—and discuss key challenges such as inequality, responsible AI, and governance. The discussion will focus on how technological changes are reshaping governance structures to meet societal needs and state ambitions, linking Cambridge’s research excellence with real-world policy challenges.
