The Cambridge University Brass Ensemble (CUBE) returns to the Painted Church once again for a Sunday lunchtime recital in a varied programme for all.

St John's College Old Divinity School
A Jazz Workshop with Tim Lapthorn (piano) and Steve Rose (bass, piano) will be held in the Old Divinity School at St John’s College on Sunday 14 October (10–12.30 & 2–5.30). This is open to graduate and undergraduate students from all Cambridge Colleges, and is free to attend. The event is generously supported by the Reinstein Fund for Jazz at St John’s College.
The morning session (10–12.30am) will be devoted to a didactic presentation on jazz theory and performance, including Q&A.
The format of the afternoon session (2–5.30pm) is closer to that of a masterclass, involving feedback to individual performers or groups (already formed, or formed on the spot).
