Power walk at the Polar Museum

Sat 24 June 2023

The Polar Museum

Discover complex, intriguing and challenging stories about power within our collections.

Join us for The Power Walk series - an opportunity to share and exchange stories and ideas linked to the University of Cambridge Museum's investigation of the legacies of empire and enslavement, power and memory with our communities and audiences.

In this Power walk we’ll be going on a tour at the Polar Museum and exploring the challenging history of exploration into the Arctic. We will be making space during the walks to hear comments and questions from participants, and will be providing tea and coffee at the end.

Visitor information

The walks will last approximately 1.5 hours and may involve standing for long periods of time.
To help plan your visit, access information for Polar Museum is available on their website: https://www.spri.cam.ac.uk/museum/accessibility/
