On 10th March Dr Nathan Mladin will give a seminar entitled ‘The Human Stakes of Artificial Intelligence’.

Abstract: Beginning with the anthropomorphic design of conversational AI, this talk examines some of the philosophical and ideological undercurrents shaping AI development, particularly transhumanist and posthumanist thought, and explores what is anthropologically and ethically at stake.

A light sandwich lunch will be provided from 12:30 in the Shasha Suite, Woolf Building, Westminster College, Madingley Road, Cambridge. Please be seated by 12:50 so that the seminar can start promptly.
