Midwinter Ceilidh, featuring Ceilidh Factor! As the nights approach their longest, make them pass by joining us for a heart-warming midwinter dance! This is a dance for everyone, from any walk of life in Cambridge, to come together in the delightful surroundings of Storey’s Field Centre. The main aim of this dance is to be fun and welcoming to all, whether you want to dance to meet new people, exercise or are already an addict! No experience is required!

Ceilidh Factor are Hazel Askew (melodeon), John Dipper (fiddle) and Chris Faulkner (calling and guitar)

Between them they have decade of experience playing for packed dance floors at festivals, weddings, parties throughout the UK and are some of the most in demand folk musicians in the country. With John’s dynamic fiddle playing, the driving rhythm of Hazel’s melodeon and Chris’s friendly and energetic calling, expect a joyful and fun evening of music and dance!

Hazel Askew is a singer and melodeon player, known for her work with Lady Maisery, Askew Sisters, Awake Arise and Songs of Separation.

John Dipper is one of England’s top fiddle players, known for his work with the English Acoustic Collective, Dipper Malkin, Alma as well as playing on several TV series and films.

Chris Faulkner is a caller and a singer, known for his joyful, friendly and energy filled ceilidhs.
