'Veronica Forrest-Thomson at Girton' is a celebration of Thomson's life and her pioneering work as a poet and critic. This special event includes a day-long symposium featuring a range of poets and writers reflecting on Thomson's creative legacy. There will also be an exhibition in the College Archive which has been curated by two of Girton's English Literature undergraduates. A catalogue published in conjunction with the event will include images of the items from the Veronica Forrest-Thomson Papers alongside texts and commentary from the curators.
Following the event, Girton College will be hosting attendees for a drinks reception and formal dinner.
