Jo Cox Memorial Lecture

Wed 16 June 2021

online

Jo Cox MP was a former student of Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge and a committed politician, humanitarian, wife and mother. In June 2016, Jo was murdered by a far-right activist whilst working in her constituency, Batley and Spen. Jo dedicated her life to helping others, campaigning tirelessly for a fairer, kinder and more tolerant world.

To celebrate Jo's life and the inspiring work she was involved with, please join us for the 4th annual lecture in our memorial series on 16th June 2021; the day which marks the 5th anniversary of Jo's murder.

The lecture will be delivered by the former Home Secretary and Chair of The Jo Cox Foundation, the Rt Hon Jacqui Smith.
