Thu 21 October 2021

online

Water is our planet’s most precious resource. Join Paul Herrington to explore how we can celebrate it in our gardens, however big or small. We will look at ponds of all kinds from formal to wildlife-friendly, stand-alone water features, rain gardens, bog gardens, rills, fountains and more. As well as discussing the pros and cons of keeping fish, and we will also discuss the risks related to water in our gardens and how to reduce them to keep us safe. And we’ll of course look at a range of water loving plants to populate our ideas and integrate them into the wider garden.

Paul Herrington is an RHS Chelsea Flower Show medal-winning garden designer with over two decades of experience who has worked in a range of private, public, commercial and therapeutic gardens. Paul also runs Grow Places, a social enterprise that works in hospital and community gardens alongside people with mental and physical health problems.

Please note this is an online course. No specialist software is required to participate, but a device with a microphone and webcam will be needed.

This is a live interactive course, and will not be made available as a recording to watch at a later date.
