A pianist of internationally renowned, the most important piano professor in Italy, Pasquale Iannone graduated from the N. Piccinni Conservatory in Bari, Italy and the Royal College of Music in London, England. He studied with Aldo Ciccolini, Eugenio Bagnoli, Marisa Somma and Gregorio Goffredo.
He has won prizes in several international competitions including the Alfredo Casella Competition in Napoli (Italy - 1989), Carlo Zecchi Competition in Rome (Italy – 1991), Gina Bachauer Competition in Salt Lake City (USA – 1994), New Orleans Competition (USA - 1995), Web Concert Hall International Competition (USA) winning both as a soloist and as a Piano Duo together with Paola Bruni.
Mr. Iannone has extensively played as recitalist, soloist with orchestra such as the Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Bari, Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro Petruzzelli, Orchestra Sinfonica della Provincia di Lecce, Orchestra 'A. Scarlatti' di Napoli, Orchestra 'Cantelli' in Milano, Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, the Utah Symphony Orchestra in the United States and with many Romanian Orchestras among the conductors who led these orchestras there are the names of Franco Caracciolo, Carlo Franci, Rino Marrone, Michele Marvulli, Jorge Mester, Ovidiu Balan and Flavio Emilio Scogna in Italy, USA, Japan, Germany, Romania, Spain, Belgium, Turkey, South Africa, France, South Korea, England, Venezuela, and Mexico.
He recorded a dozen recordings for the Phoenix Classical label, highly acclaimed by critics, and many of Iannone's performances have been broadcasted live by RAI (Italy) and KBYU (Provo,Utah).

He is a Piano Professor at Conservatorio “N. Piccinni” in Bari and at “Accademia del Ridotto” in Stradella, and is also serving as an Artistic Director of Barletta Piano Festival and a jury member for international piano competitions.
