World Music Festival - Gamelan Concert

Sun 2 March 2025

Pembroke College Auditorium

Join us for a journey through the repertoire of one of the world’s richest musical traditions: From the grandeur of ceremonial music to the delicacy of the soft and ornate style. The dance of a warrior contrasts with that of an exuberant and joyful young woman. The Cambridge Gamelan Society will be joined by dancer, Andrea Rutkowski, and guest musicians in this concert showcasing the range and depth of Javanese gamelan music.

Cost: Tickets: £14, (students and under 18s £4)
