Choral Evensong with Dedication and Blessing | Organ Festival
Sun 10 May
St John's College
The Organ Festival concludes with a special service of Choral Evensong with the dedication and blessing of the new organ. At the heart of the service is the ‘Awaking of the Organ’ in which a series of invocations are answered by bursts of organ improvisation. In this service the organ fully finds its voice as a sacred instrument, accompanying a sermon given by the Dean of Chapel.
Tickets are not required for this service.
Cost: Free. No booking required.
