online

Thomas van Erpe or Erpenius (d. 1624) was one of the leading Arabists and orientalists of his time. His collection of wide-ranging materials arrived at Cambridge University Library in 1632 and features more than twelve languages from East Africa to West Asia, China and the Malay-Indonesian world.
