ThinkLab Ideation Event: Strategies for Neurodiversity and Disability Inclusion

Fri 28 March 2025

West Hub

The University of Cambridge ThinkLab is excited to announce our upcoming event on neurodiversity, disability, inclusion and the future of work.

In today's rapidly evolving work environment, neurodivergent individuals still face substantial barriers, and comprehensive solutions remain fragmented. Despite growing awareness of neurodiversity, significant gaps persist in the representation and inclusion of neurodiverse talent in the workforce. Traditional workplaces often overlook the unique needs of neurodiverse employees, highlighting the urgency for innovative, inclusive solutions that provide support for all disabled and neurodivergent people.

Following the success of our ‘Future of Work Hackathon’ last year, we’re delighted to invite Cambridge postgraduates and early-career researchers to join us for an impact challenge held at the West Hub on Friday the 28th of March 2025.

Teams will work together to bridge the gap between academia and the workplace by coming up with ideas, solutions, or experiments to make physical and digital workspaces more inclusive and supportive for all. You will also have a chance to work closely with a range of experts across different areas of knowledge.

This event will feature keynote talks from some brilliant employee resource group (ERG) leaders, disability advocates and Cambridge academics.

Spaces are limited so sign up today to reserve your place. Register as a team, pair or an individual here: https://forms.gle/WoFEPjgRqVuLYE43A

Date: Friday the 28th of March, 9 -6 pm
Venue: East 2 Room, West Hub, University of Cambridge.

Open to all adults. We especially would like to encourage graduate students, ERC researchers, and those who identify as neurodivergent, disabled, advocates, and allies to register.
