The Life and Nearly Death Of Riley

Fri 26 November 2021

Zoom Video Conferencing

An uplifting storytelling performance toured in 15 countries to hundreds of audiences, from major theatres to Inuit living rooms, from fashionable venues in trendy Reykjavik to therapeutic communities in Orkney, and virtually from Buenos Aires to LA.

From the taste of final despair to the rebirth hope, privilege meets homelessness, freedom can be a thousand prisons, and prison a place liberation.

Ismael Velasco has been a professional storyteller and performer for over 25 years, specialising in the use of the arts for social action and community development. He has performed to tens of thousands of people over that period, in over 20 countries, from major theatrical venues to remote indigenous villages.
