Search Inside Yourself: From Google to mindfulness

Mon 8 September

Jesus College

Join the Jesus College Intellectual Forum to hear from Chade-Meng Tan (Meng), a pioneering member of the Google team, as he shares how mindfulness has shaped his remarkable career and life philosophy.

In conversation with Dr Julian Huppert, Meng will be sharing stories about what it means to seek a happy life, drawing on insights from his experience as one of the first employees at Google, where he had the role of ‘Jolly Good Fellow’. During his time at Google, Meng led the creation of a groundbreaking mindfulness-based emotional intelligence course called Search Inside Yourself, and after his retirement from the company at the age of 45, he has carried forward that passion for mindfullness into non-profit work.
