EXHIBITION - Empowering People: Genetic Counselling in Focus

Please note: this event has been CANCELLED

Sat 16 May 2020 - Sat 20 June 2020

Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre

What is genetic counselling, what does a genetic counsellor do, and who gets to see one? The latest exhibition at the Wellcome Genome Campus explores the vital but often little-known work of genetic counsellors. Discover how they work with patients, supporting them to make sense of information about genetic tests and diagnoses that is meaningful for them and their families.

You can also visit Open Lab to discover more about the Campus’ history and the cutting-edge research that happens here today. The three Open Lab visits will be filled on a first-come basis. Everyone is welcome, though we recommend Open Lab for ages 10 and up.
