The eight business schools are committed to working together to raise awareness of the issues, challenges and actions needed to help current and future business leaders to tackle climate change.

As part of the initiative, this Wednesday 20 October, we will be co-hosting a webinar with HEC, on the topic of: Climate Change & Business: The Role of Nature & Challenges of Decarbonisation.

This conversation is one of a series of webinars on business and climate change organised by BSCL and the speakers from Cambridge Judge Business School and HEC Paris will explore two themes:

Jennifer Howard-Grenville, Diageo Professor of Organisation Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, will explore the connections between climate change and nature and consider the importance of nature’s value to business and society.

Daniel Halbheer, Associate Professor of Marketing and Academic Director of the Climate and Earth Center at the Society and Organizations Institute, HEC Paris, will explore the role of consumers and policy makers in decarbonising business.

Igor Shishlov, Senior Consultant at Perspectives and Adjunct Lecturer at HEC Paris, will also share his experience on decarbonisation from a business perspective.

The event will be moderated by Mike Rosenberg, Professor of the Practice of Management in the Strategic Management Department of IESE Business School.
