The Diploma is examined by thesis only or by a combination of thesis, exams, course-work, projects, reports, seminars and essays.


What is required?


Please note that this information is only applicable to those Diplomas administered by the Student Registry: the Diplomas in Economics, International Law and Legal Studies.


Your thesis must be a connected account of work, and must comply with the General and Special Regulations for the particular Diploma programme.



How do I present my thesis?


You must submit two typed copies of the thesis in durable binding with your name clearly marked on the front cover. Word limits and more specific information about the requirements is available from the General and Special Regulations and listed under the specific Diploma programme.


You are advised to check your thesis carefully for typing errors, spelling mistakes and poor grammar or written expression. The thesis, apart from quotations and recognised technical formulae, must be written in English.


When do I need to submit by?


There is a date and time by which you need to submit your theis to your Degree Committee. Please contact the appropriate Degree Committee for further information on submission arrangements.


You will need to complete a Certificate of Dissertation Submission form when the thesis is submitted.
