The Council gives notice that, on the recommendation of its Remuneration Committee, at its meetings on 22 September and 20 October 2008 and 16 February 2009, it exercised its power as the competent authority under Regulation 8 of the regulations for payments additional to stipend (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 657) to approve non-pensionable annual bonus schemes for certain senior staff in the Investment Office and for the Director of the North West Cambridge Project. An interim bonus payment in respect of one individual was included in the most recent Notice of statistical information about staff grades, additional payments, and market supplements published on 21 January 2009 (Reporter, p. 402). The Council has agreed that the information on bonuses paid in respect of these schemes will continue to be included in future annual Notices recording data on payments made additional to stipend.
