Li. 8. The structure of English (also serves as Paper 8 of the Linguistics Tripos and as Paper 29 of Part II of the English Tripos).
This paper will be offered for the last time in the academical year 2009-10, and will be suspended with effect from 1 October 2010. The paper will be abolished with effect from 1 October 2011.
The list of papers for Ukrainian has been amended by introducing the following paper:
Uk. 2. Studies in twentieth-century Ukrainian literature and film.
SCHEDULE II
By suspending Paper Li. 8 with effect from 1 October 2010, and abolishing it with effect from 1 October 2011.
By adding Paper Uk. 2 to the list of papers offered and by adding a footnote to Papers Uk. 1 and Uk. 2 to affirm that no candidate may offer more than one of Papers Uk. 1 or Uk. 2 in any one year.
The Faculty Board of Modern and Medieval Languages have confirmed that no candidate's preparation will be affected by these changes.
