ALUMNI AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

Wolfson College seeks an Alumni and Development Assistant to support the Development Director in the College's busy Alumni and Development Office. The role is varied and will be office-based, although attendance at some events will be required. The Alumni and Development Assistant will support the Department's alumni relations, fundraising, and stewardship activities, as well as being responsible for the day to day running of the office in the Director's absence.

Key duties and responsibilities will include administering events, researching and tracking prospects, assisting with the stewardship of donors, communicating with alumni, Fellows and other Departments within College, maintaining the Department's database, processing donations and recording income, helping to build the College's online community, and carrying out the general administrative tasks of the Department.

Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to work as part of a busy team.

This is a new post in a Department established in July 2008, with a starting salary in the range £23,100 to £27,600, depending on experience.
