COLLEGE LECTURER IN LAW (TURPIN-LIPSTEIN FELLOWSHIP)

Applications are invited for the post of College Lecturer in Law.

Applicants should be able to offer teaching in at least two of the following subjects within the Law Tripos: Civil Law (viz Roman Law), Criminal Law, Tort, Constitutional Law, Land Law, Equity (viz Trusts), Public International Law, and European Union Law.

Preference will be given to applicants who can teach at least one of the first four subjects at IA level: viz Civil Law, Criminal Law, Tort, and Constitutional Law.

The successful candidate will be required to direct studies and participate fully in the administration of the subject, as well as undertaking nine hours of supervision a week during Full Term for or on behalf of the College.

The post will be for a fixed term of three years. The stipend payable will be £32,458 for the first year.

It is intended that the successful candidate will take up the appointment on 1 October 2009.
