The Council has recently commenced the process of selection of a successor to Professor A. F. Richard whose tenure as Vice-Chancellor will end on 30 September 2010. In accordance with Regulation 1 for the office of Vice-Chancellor (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 659), it has appointed an Advisory Committee consisting of the following members:
