The General Board, on the recommendation of the Management Board of the Cambridge Programme for Industry (CPI), have agreed to retitle the Programme as the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership (CPSL) with effect from 1 January 2009. The new name more accurately represents the scope of CPI's activity, thus enhancing communications with present and future clients and staff, and more clearly indicates the particular role CPI plays within the broader field of sustainability and within the University's portfolio of Executive Education.
The regulations for the Cambridge Programme for Industry (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 612) have accordingly been amended with effect from 1 January 2009 by replacing at each occurrence the reference to the Cambridge Programme for Industry by reference to the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership.
The Council is submitting a Grace (Grace 4, p. 396) for the approval of consequential amendments to the regulations for the School of Technology.
