A meeting of the Friends of Cambridge University Library will be held on Saturday, 22 November 2008, at 11.30 a.m., in the Morison Room, University Library, West Road, at which the poet and translator George Szirtes will give a talk entitled The slant door and where it leads. All are welcome. Friends of the Library and junior members of the University: free; others: £3.50. The talk will be followed by an opportunity to view a display of Dr Szirtes's publications.
