Professorship of Physiology: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Physiology invite applications for this Professorship from persons whose work falls within the general field of the Professorship to take up appointment on 1 October 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Department has a distinguished record in physiological research, and numbers Michael Foster, John Newport Langley, Edgar Adrian, Alan Hodgkin, and Andrew Huxley among its former members.

The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.
