Graces submitted to the Regent House on 15 October 2008

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 24 October 2008.

1. That the regulations for the Cambridge, Oxford, and Southern School Examinations Council be rescinded.1

2. That Regulation 2 for the H. A. Turner Prize be amended so as to read:

2. The Prize shall be awarded each year by the Examiners for Part IIa of the Economics Tripos to the candidate who achieves the best mark in Paper 7 (Labour) in that examination.2

3. That Schedule G be amended so that the multiplier to be used referred to in Schedule G in relation to College contributions under Statute G, II shall be equal to the ratio of the value of an index six months immediately preceding the valuation date to its value in July 2005, that index to be determined by the University reflecting general economic circumstances.3
