Suzy Paine Fund: Notice

The Managers may make grants from the income of the Fund to members of the University in statu pupillari who are or intend to be candidates for the Economics Tripos and to Graduate Students undertaking advanced study or research in the field of Political Economy in the University, to assist them in meeting the cost of travel to and in Asia in connection with their studies or in meeting other costs incurred in the course of research related to Asia.

An application must fully explain the purpose for which a grant is needed and must include a statement of likely expenses and of any other sources of assistance to which application has been made, together with the name and address of at least one referee familiar with the applicant's academic work who has been asked to write direct to the Teaching Administrative Officer. Applications and references should reach the Faculty's Teaching Administrative Officer, Faculty of Economics, Austin Robinson Building, Sidgwick Avenue, Cambridge, CB3 9DD, by 1 May 2009. Successful applicants will be required to submit to the Managers a brief written report on their return.
