Cambridge Finance Best Paper Award

Cambridge Finance announces the establishment of a Cambridge Finance Best Paper Award, comprising a cash honorarium of £1,000 and a certificate, to the author of the best paper in finance presented during the academical year 2008-09 at the weekly Cambridge Finance Workshop.

Any Cambridge University graduate student at Judge Business School, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Land Economy, Faculty of Law or Faculty of Mathematics is eligible.

Any student wishing to enter for the Award should send a title and a short abstract of the paper he or she would like to present to the Cambridge Finance Administrator, Eva Gottschalk (email eg329@cam.ac.uk) by 19 September 2008 (for students in residence) or by 17 October 2008 (for students entering their first year of graduate study in Michaelmas Term 2008). A Committee, consisting of the Cambridge Finance Managers, will then select a number of authors that can present their paper at the Cambridge Finance Workshops on Tuesdays during term time. Finalized papers will need to be sent to the Cambridge Finance Administrator after the presentation but before 29 May 2009. The Award Committee will select the best paper, and the award will be presented to the author at the Cambridge Finance Lunch in June 2009.
