MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER

Brasenose College Alumni Relations and Development Office is seeking applications for a Major Gifts Officer to join a highly energetic, professional team committed to launching an ambitious campaign in 2009, coinciding with the College's 500th anniversary. The purpose of the post is to secure, manage, and steward major gift prospects, with the aim of closing 20-60 gifts in the £1,000 to £1 million range each year.

Applicants should ideally come from a fundraising, marketing, or sales background. Knowledge of the Raiser's Edge database is desirable but not essential. Flexibility is essential as significant evening and weekend work will be required.

The appointment will be made at an appropriate point on the University's Grade 7 scale, for which the current salary (pay award pending) is between £27,466 (spine point 29) and £33,779 (spine point 36), with a discretionary range to £36,912. Holiday entitlement is 30 days a year in addition to public holidays. Other benefits include a final salary pension scheme and a free lunch in Hall. The post is full-time but consideration will be given to suitable candidates wishing to work part-time.
