EMMANUEL COLLEGE SPECIAL COLLECTIONS LECTURE

Dr Stella Butler, Deputy University Librarian and Associate Director of the John Rylands Library (Special Collections, Infrastructure and Planning), University of Manchester, will give a lecture entitled Facing the nightmare: Moving the collections of the John Rylands Library and bringing them back again!, at 3 p.m. on Friday, 25 April, in the Auditorium, The Queen's Building, Emmanuel College. All welcome.

CAMBRIDGE SEMINARS IN THE HISTORY OF CARTOGRAPHY

Tom Koch, Adjunct Professor of Medical Geography at the University of British Columbia, and Adjunct Professor of Gerontology at Simon Fraser University, will give a seminar entitled Cholera mapping from 1819 to 1854: before John Snow and the Broad Street outbreak, at 5.30 p.m., on Tuesday, 6 May, in the Harrods Room, Emmanuel College, St Andrew's Street. All are welcome. Refreshments will be available after the seminar.
