Magdalen College seeks to appoint an Assistant Organist for the period 1 September 2008 to 31 July 2010.
The Assistant Organist will accompany the Chapel Choir, assist with the training of Choristers, and deputize for the Informator Choristarum (Director of Music) as required. He or she will also be responsible for the College's mixed-voice choir and for the Choir Library. There will be certain administrative tasks as well, requiring sound IT skills and good time management. The salary will be £11,000 a year, in addition to the offer of rent-free accommodation.
