TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP AND UNIVERSITY LECTURESHIP (CUF) IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

Lincoln College and the Faculty of English, University of Oxford, propose to make a joint appointment in English from 1 October 2008. The post-holder will be a Tutorial Fellow of Lincoln College and a University Lecturer (CUF) in the Faculty of English Language and Literature. This post is open to scholars with an outstanding record of research and publication who can offer a range of teaching within English Literature in the period 1740 to the present day. Preference may be given to candidates with research interests in the period 1780-1900.

The College and University salaries in aggregate will be on a scale from £39,159 to £52,628 a year. Additional College allowances are available as set out in the further particulars. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in high level research and scholarship, and to teach, supervise, and examine undergraduate and graduate students within the full range of duties expected of a University Lecturer and Tutorial Fellow.
