Jesus College

SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Jesus College proposes to elect up to two Senior Research Fellowships, tenable from 1 October 2008 for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal. The Fellowships are intended for those who possess clear international academic distinction in research (normally building on the existing strengths of the College). Applicants should be employed in the University of Oxford, and preference will be given to those who do not already hold a College affiliation. The College is particularly keen to attract applicants in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Fellowships offer Senior Common Room membership, full dining rights, a research allowance of £834 a year, a nominal Fellowship stipend of £180 a year, and eligibility to apply for the College's Major Research Grants Fund of £22,000 a year.

Further information on these Senior Research Fellowships may be obtained from the Jesus College website at http://www.jesus.ox.ac.uk/notices/, or the Principal's Secretary, Jesus College, Oxford, OX1 3DW (e-mail helen.gee@jesus.ox.ac.uk), to whom six copies of the application should be sent by 16 January 2008.

Jesus College is an equal opportunities employer.
