FELLOW AND COLLEGE LECTURER IN ECONOMICS

Applications are invited for the post of College Lecturer in Economics. The appointment will be for five years from 1 October 2008, with the possibility of reappointment thereafter, and will carry with it a Fellowship. The successful candidate, who will have expertise in the areas of MicroEconomics and Industrial Organization, will be expected to be active in research, to contribute to the direction of studies in Economics, and provide undergraduate supervision for the College. Stipend will be in accordance with the scale for a University Lecturer, currently between £33,379 and £42,791, depending on the experience of the person appointed; preference may be given to candidates who have recently gained a Ph.D. Degree. THE RANDALL DILLARD RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN INTERNATIONAL STUDIES

The College hopes to elect not later than 1 May 2008 to the above Fellowship with tenure from 1 October 2008.

Applications are sought from specialists in any area of international relations, international law, international politics, or international economics. Candidates should have recently completed a doctoral degree, or expect to have been awarded a doctoral degree by 1 October 2008. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for three years. The holder will be permitted to do a limited amount of teaching for the College, but would require the permission of the Governing Body to undertake other paid work. The stipend is currently £21,682 and is reviewed annually. Further financial particulars are available on request.
